HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT STATEMENT
In the development of its operations, the basic and continuing policy of PARACHEM GHANA LTD is that of total support for the Health and Safety of its people and of others who may be affected by these operations and of using its best to minimize negative effects on the environment while these operations are carried out. PARACHEM GHANA LTD personnel assigned to work with clients shall meet the standards of Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Imposed by local legislations and clients provision. To meet these aims,PARACHEM is committed to:
1. Establish the practice of Complying with the significant local rules and government laws regarding Health, Safety and Environmental Protection at any place where PARACHEM operations are per formed.
2. Providing the knowledge of all current legislations and other necessary information, specific for local work areas, to all its personnel/specialist involved. In these areas, and to ensure that all the personnel have acquired the full knowledge of their responsibilities concerning Health, Safety and Environmental Protection and take action correspondingly.
3. Provide incentive aimed at encouraging its personnel to be always
active in avoidance of accidents, by observing procedural Health, Safety and Environmental Provisions, and by taking immediate corrective action in case of non-conformities.
4. Provide continuous training in Health, Safety and Environmental issues to its personnel, aimed at emphasizing the importance of compliance with the above policy at their work site. Management of PARACHEM is directly responsible for the achievement of the Health, Safety and Environment policy.
PARACHEM GHANA LTD has appointed a safety officer as management
representative to ensure the implementations and maintenance of Safetyat–work policy.
PARACHEM GHANA LTD believes that the overall success of our planned
operation in any location shall amongst others also require some inputs from the area of operation. To this end the company shall address the following:
– Maintain cordial and mutual beneficial relationship with Host
 Community.
– Effective system to handle issues arising from Host Community.
– Maximize the use of available local resources.
